Offshore Races 2006 2007 Season Part 1 to the end of December 06

The George Law/FSC Foundation Race is scheduled to be run on Sunday 24th September 2006 as the first race in the 2006-07 season. It is also the first race for the FSC Success Cup.
This race was abandoned and may be re-sailed on the 16th of December 06.

The Dolphin & J. Russel Races from RFBYC is scheduled to be run on Sunday 15th October 06.

The Geraldton & The Geraldton Return Races from SOPYC is scheduled to start PM on Friday 20th October 06, with the Return race starting on Friday 27th October 2006. The GYC Lobster Pot Series is normally run in between this two races.

The Mariners Cup & The Shepherdess Cup from CYC is scheduled to be run to Hillarys Keys over the weekend of Saturday 11th & Sunday 12th of November 06.

The FSC Coventry Reef [G.Hslehurst] Race is scheduled to be run on Saturday 25th November 2006. It is the second race for the FSC Success Cup. This is also the day before the FSC Harbour Race on Sunday 26th.

The FSC Harbour Race is scheduled to be run on Sunday 26th November 2006. This race stands alone, it is not an offshore race, and count for no series.

The Hugel Passage Race from SoPYC is scheduled to be run out the Hugel Pass then around Rotto on Saturday 9th of December 06.

Geographe Bay Race Week 2007

LATEST UP-DATE ON GEO BAY RACE WEEK 2007
Starting on Friday 23rd Feb Finish Saturday 2nd March 07
1st Race on Saturday 24th Feb 07

Our timing for The South West Race Week 2007 is as follows;
Start from Freo around 20th of February 07 and go to Mandurah and Bunbury Harbour the next day and we will finish up in the Geographe Bay marina [Busselton] some time in the [early] afternoon the next day.
The Boat will then stay in the Geo. Bay marina until after the regatta is over on Friday 3rd of March. The Regatta Start on Friday 23 with Briefings, Opening formalities, pen allocations, etc. The First Race is on Saturday 26th. The last Race day of The Regatta is Friday 2rd of March. After the regatta is finished some time in the early afternoon on Saturday 3rd we intend to sail back to Fremantle, maybe stopping in Bunbury and expecting to arrive in Fremantle late Sunday or early Monday. Monday is Labour Day Long Weekend Poblic Hollyday

Offshore Races 2006 2007 Season Part 2 from January 07

The Pot o Gold & Perie Baneou Races by HYC & RPYC is scheduled to be run to Hillarys YC over the weekend of Saturday 13th & Sunday 14th of January 07.

The Bunbury City Classic & Cp. Buvarde races from FSC is scheduled to be run to Coombana Bay Yacht Club, in Bunbury over the Australia Day Long Weekend starting on Aussie Day, Thursday 25th with the Cp. Buvarde return race starting on Saturday 27th of January 07. This races are the third and fourth for the Success Cup.

The Roland Smith & Gordon Craig races from RFBYC to TCYC in Rockingham is scheduled to be run on Saturday 10th & Sunday 11th February 07.

And this is where the Geographe Bay race week fits in,
From Friday 23rd Feb to Saturday 2nd March 07

The Bunbury & Return Race from RFBYC is scheduled to be run to Bunbury
non-stop back to Fremantle over the weekend of Saturday 10th & Sunday 11th of March 2007.

The Mandurah Race Week-End 2007
By FSC is the last two races for the Success Cup.
It Consist of the HALLS HEAD and the Pt. ROBERT RETURN OCEAN RACES.
The Dates areSaturday 24th March and Sunday 25th March 2007.
Organising Authority:FREMANTLE SAILING CLUB.
In Conjunction withMANDURAH OFFSHORE FISHING & SAILING CLUB.

HALLS HEAD RACE
Warning Signal, Saturday 24th March for Division 1 = 0925.
Race Distance; aprox 34 nm, Safety Category 3.
Trophies; YAH and IRC: Division 1 and 2.
Entry Fee; $40 Includes the Point Robert Return Race nomination.
Entries Must reach FSC no later than Monday 19 March 2007

The Finish is between the mast on the Finish Boat at the Port end,
and a buoy approx 50 metres to the west,

This is now known as The 47th Cape Naturaliste & Return Ocean Race

The Proposed Start Date is [Good] Friday 6th April [Easter] 2007
The Organising Authority is RPYC
The race is run from Fremantle to Bunker Bay [near Cp. Naturaliste] non-stop back to Fremantle

Warning Signal for Division 1 and 2; 0925
Distance 240 miles approx
Safety Category 3 +
Trophies for YAH and IRC in Division 1 and 2
Entry Fee $60.00 (inclusive of GST)
All the rest for 2007 is the same.

The Iberia race 07 from RPYC to TCYC in Rockingham is scheduled to be run on Saturday 21st April 07.

VALMADRE CUP 2007

The VALMADRE CUP SERIES 2007
A series of 3 Day races [+ a re-sail day if needed]
To be held in Gage Roads between Rottnest Is. and Fremantle.
Organising Authority is FREMANTLE SAILING CLUB
All Dates are Saturdays;
Arlene Ocean Race 16th June 2007
Ensign Ocean Race 30th June 2007
Mayflower Ocean Race 14th July 2007
Re‑sail if needed 28th July 2007
